It will consist of a full-scale, comprehensive, measure of intelligence, as well as, a measure of adaptive behavior. Adaptive behavior assessments measure the developmental skills needed to carry out a variety of daily activities. The intelligence and adaptive behavior evaluation may also contain a screening of emotional and behavioral functioning. Intelligence evaluations typically strive to identify deficits that may benefit from accommodations at school, work, or in the community. Learning disorder (LD) evaluations aim to identify specific learning disorders in reading, mathematics, and/or written expression that may benefit from formal accommodations at school or work. The LD evaluation consists of a full-scale, comprehensive, measure of intelligence, as well as, academic assessment in the area/s of suspected deficit/s. The LD evaluation may also include screening of emotional and behavioral functioning. LD evaluations are available for adults and children 2nd grade and older. $675.
The emotional and behavioral disorder evaluation explores a wide variety of emotional and behavioral symptoms with the goal of finding the most appropriate diagnosis or diagnoses for a client. These evaluations are often conducted to identify problems in need of treatment, assist treatment providers, such as therapists, to best help a client meet their treatment goals, and identify areas negatively impacting learning and school functioning that may benefit from formal modifications at school. $575.
The autism spectrum disorder (ASD) evaluation explores a variety of symptoms and behaviors with the goal of identifying individuals that may meet diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum disorder. The ASD evaluation consists of a full-scale IQ test, measure of adaptive behavior, measures of emotional and behavioral functioning, as well as, measures specific to ASD symptoms. ASD evaluations can be helpful for identifying individuals that may benefit from formal treatment and school or work modifications to help them function to the best of their ability. ASD evaluations can be conducted with children and adults. $675.
Personality disorder evaluations explore a wide variety of emotional, behavioral, and psychological symptoms looking for lifelong patterns that may meet diagnostic criteria for a personality disorder. Personality disorder evaluations are only available for clients age 18 and older. $575.
Trauma and PTSD evaluations explore a wide variety of emotional, behavioral, and psychological symptoms that may meet diagnostic criteria for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or other trauma-related disorder. This type of evaluation can be conducted with children and adults. $575.
Psychotic disorder and schizophrenia spectrum disorder evaluations explore a wide variety of emotional, behavioral, and psychological symptoms that may meet diagnostic criteria for a psychotic-related disorder. This type of evaluation in only available for clients age 18 and older. $575.
Dual area evaluations seek to explore symptoms related to two of the areas listed above. Due to the increased time required in interview and assessment, these evaluations cost a little more than the single area evaluations listed above. Dual area evaluations can be conducted with children and adults. $625-$775.
A comprehensive evaluation is considered to be any type of evaluation that seeks to explore symptoms related to three or more of the areas listed above. Due to the increased time to interview and assess multiple areas of mental health, these evaluations cost a little more than single and dual area evaluations. Comprehensive evaluations can be conducted with children and adults. $700-$850.
